Respite/Adult Day Care Centers
The demands of work and household keep you from spending the time you’d like to with your loved one during the day. She’s isolated and in need of activity and companionship. More than that, she may not always be safe left alone. Adult Day Care centers are licensed facilities that provide organized activity in a safe setting. As many as three meals are provided daily. Many facilities arrange regular visits by hair care, podiatric and dental professionals. Activities include stretching and exercise classes to enhance strength and mobility. Cognitive games preserve and revitalize memory and help your loved one feel confident and vibrant about life. Most of all, your loved one will find the opportunity to have friends and to be a friend.
