When Stephen L. Richards developed the original Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park location in Salt Lake City, he envisioned, in 1912, a cemetery “where serenity and peace of nature enshrine the tender memories of those we love."

After 88 years of service to the community, the cemetery business that Stephen started expanded southwest by opening Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park South Valley. This new memorial park was located in Riverton and had the same careful planning that went into the original location. Today, we provide many cemetery options for people from all walks of life, including traditional in-ground burial, above-ground entombment and cremation memorialization.
