Salt Lake County Aging Services

The Salt Lake County Caregiver Support Program offers non-professional family caregivers support and education with care responsibilities that are often unfamiliar and intimidating--offering a variety of services designed to minimize caregiver burnout:


#### Short Term
Requires an intake and is based on eligibility requirements
<li>Respite Services (Brief period of relief for the caregiver)</li>
<li>Supplemental Services (Supplies and equipment)</li>
 

#### On-Going
Support that is accessed on an as needed basis
<li>Information and Assistance (Resource options, newsletter and emails)</li>
<li>Education (The Caregiver Academy, Stress-Busting Program, Managing Care Guide)</li>
<li>Support Groups (General and disease specific)</li>
<li>Consultations (Care discussions and planning)</li>
