Although caregiving is a uniquely rewarding and meaningful experience and is an expression of our deepest love for another, it is also a mentally, emotionally and physically demanding job. Without proper support, it can take a toll on your mental, emotional and physical health.
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you have made the right choice to come here.
I know this is hard. You’ve likely been debating seeking help for months, if not years. I’m so glad you found me and have taken the courageous step of being here.
Sometimes we lose our way in life. We can become disconnected from our true sense of self, from our partners and our families. My goal as a counselor is to help individuals, couples and families rebuild important connections so that they may live happier, healthier and more abundant lives. I believe that we all have the innate capacity to become aware of old patterns that do not serve us and that we can learn about and create new ways of being in the world. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy, mindfulness techniques, trauma informed treatment interventions, and grief and loss tools. I work to create a safe, nurturing environment during counseling sessions in order to help clients overcome difficulties, achieve their goals, and build stronger connections with the most important people in their lives.
